THE PLUG&PROBE
The Plug&Probe is a proven and reliable test station for thin films and pellets. It is available in three different materials:
Glass (green)
Quartz glass (blue)
Alumina (orange)
All three test stations are physically identical in design. They differ only in the materials used and the resulting material properties of the interior, such as maximum operating temperature and oxygen exchange behavior.
These test stations are commonly used for PVD thin films (PLD and sputtered) on, for example, 10 × 10 mm substrate samples, as well as for pressed ceramic pellets. A key objective in the design of the Plug&Probe test stations was to ensure they are extremely easy to use and straightforward to maintain.
PLUG&PROBE KF
All three Plug&Probe test stations are also available with KF sealing. The specification for the electrochemical contact stations are similar except for the leakage rate (according to ISO-KF standard).
